 foxtrot_professional_70b6.dmg

 foxtrot_personal_70b6.dmg

 foxtrot_search_server_70b6.dmg

Of particular relevance to our testers: older builds will cease to function on March 1st, whereas this one will work until March 31st.

FoxTrot 7.0b6 release notes (from 7.0b5):

 - Added an enhanced date categorizer:
 - larger histogram, with better hover tooltips and date selection method
 - contextual menu
 - three different vertical scales for the date histogram
 - choice between date modified / date created

 - Certain file types (e.g. RagTime documents) could be shown empty in the preview pane, or in the document window. A plain text version is now displayed.

 - Using the Services menu with selected items in the result list was broken with some applications and / or recent versions of macOS

 - [PRO] Modernized the tab bar appearance and implementation

 - [PRO] enhanced history and bookmarks
 - added a preference pane to configure search and document history
 - added some contextual menu actions to the bookmarks and history window (open, reveal in Finder, copy path etc)
 - added ability to drag documents from the bookmarks and history window, to an application in the Dock
 - added a history toolbar button

Kindly supply us with feedback on this group or in an application-generated support case. Thank you in advance.

Yes! Albeit a bit outdated, I also prefer these classic tabs…

To revert to the previous tabs, quit FoxTrot Pro then copy and paste the following command to a Terminal.app window:

 defaults write com.ctmdev.FoxTrotPro TabStyle Card

 To restore the modern tabs:

 defaults delete com.ctmdev.FoxTrotPro TabStyle

previewing. It will show you every search hit on a file in context."
