Anyone one else having problems?
"epub.mdimporter" cannot be opened because the developer cannot be
verified.
FTP 7b8 is not showing epub files with "FoxTrot Preview" in preview pane,
only as other formats.
I've read it is a notarisation issue with Catalina and the developer of
epub.mdimporter doesn't have the time to fix it.

There are probably some other ways to fix the problem, but one option is
to clear the quarantine flag on this executable file using Terminal.app.
To do so, type this in Terminal.app:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine epub.mdimporter
but replace "epub.mdimporter" by the actual full path to the file (you
may drag and drop it from the Finder to the Terminal.app window to
"paste" its path)

I had a similar problem and the solution from Jérôme worked for me - but
first I had to get Spotlight to explicity reindex the folder(s) containing
epub files.

Hi,
I'm still having problems with seeing the 'proper' preview of pub files.
I've followed Jerome's advice and also that of John Lea.
Short of using Spotlight to re-index all my hard drives, and then rebuilding all my FoxTrot indexes, can anyone think of an alternative solution?
Thanks!
