Hi,
The search capabilities FT Search Pro 4.5.2 are outstanding, for the GUI I
would like to see some improvements:
UI:
- The right-hand preview does not open links in HTML documents (will work
in .rtf files, after saving the same file as .html in TextEdit links are
not opened anymore) UPDATE: There seems to be different behaviour: Links in
.rtf are opened in the default browser while links in .html are opened in
the built-in browser, and this is extremely slow. Consistent behaviour
would be great.
- "Open Link in new windows" does not work.
- Please add context menu: "Open link in default browser"
- Please enable smart links in plain text documents
- Please add context menu "Open with ..." to open with other than the
default application
- Please integrate saved bookmarks directly into the bookmarks menu (so no
separate bookmarks window is required to access bookmarks)
Nice to have:
- preview of markdown documents
- Customization of font size in the list of search results would be great
- direct editing of plain text (or even markdown) files in the preview pane
would be great too

These are very good ideas. (The only one of the UI improvements I
consider unimportant if it would affect speed of display is enabling
smart links.)
Of the nice to have, I would especially like:
Increased font size in the results
The other two nices to have would indeed be nice to have.
