State of epub indexing in 2021? [message #1294]

Hello all,
I am trying to get Foxtrot to index epub files, and have tried solutions found online, like using quicklook plugins and epub.mdimporter spotlight plugin; however, nothing seems to work, epubs are not indexed.

I use an M1 mac, can anyone help me set things up so that Spotlight (and thus Foxtrot) can index my epub books?

Well, after triggering a full Spotlight re-indexing, epubs are now correctly indexed. Crisis averted !
