I can't figure out the difference between Foxtrot Pro and Foxtrot Personal.
I am trying Personal, does the Pro version have any significant
differences? I only use it to search .docx and .pdf files, mostly with
boolean and proximity searches. I bought it to replace DtSearch, which
I've used since it first came out in the mid-90's, and which is AWESOME but
does not run on a Mac. So, if anyone could kindly point out whether there
is some difference between pro and personal that would be relevant to my
use (just trying to find old documents with simple concepts like "actual
w/5 knowledge", I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Using FoxTrot Personal, you can only run proximity searches and boolean OR using the search pattern syntax. In FoxTrot Pro, this is much easer to do with multiple criteria and the search operator popup menu.
