Hi everyone,
First time poster and fairly new user. I'm looking for help searching emails. After initiating a search, I hold the option and click on the message and see other metadata in the message. However, when I search for that other metadata, I can never find it. I've tried to search by metadata or other metadata to no avail. For example, when I search for "kMDItemAuthorEmailAddresses" which Foxtrot indexes I can never find it no matter what I do. I've attached what I'm seeing in a screenshot.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!
Chuck

The value of these Spotlight attributes should be indexed as part of [other metadata]. However, the name of these Spotlight attributes (e.g. kMDItemAuthorEmailAddresses) is not part of the metadata.
To explicitly search in a given Spotlight attribute, use the [then filter by Spotlight attribute] criterion.
For example:
[content, any metadata or filename] [includes all of the words] [email«~at~»address«|dot|»com]
[then filter by spotlight attribute] [author email addresses] [contains the string] [ignore case] [email«~at~»address«|dot|»com]
