I received a notice in FoxTrot that says "Your perpetual license for version 8 of FoxTrot entitles you to periodic automatic renewal of your serial number." ... and then continues "Your current serial number needs to be renewed before 2/22/25, as it will expire on that date.
Please note that you will need to keep your renewed serial number safe, as we won’t automatically resend it. Use the “Enter Registration Code” menu to manually install the renewed code on other Macs."
What does this mean? Do I need to purchase something again?
Also -- when I attempt to use the contact form on FoxTrot web pages, I get a security warning. It's the same warning my company got when completing our last purchase about a year ago. We had to jump through a lot of hoops just to be able to use the site. Does anyone know of a way around the following security message "This server could not prove that it is services.ctmdev.com; its security certificate is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection"?

Update -- after clicking the button to enter serial number, and completing the registration form again, I get the following error. This error has persisted for years.
Is there a way to remedy this error?

No, you don't need to buy anything as you have a perpetual licence for version 8.
All you need to do is click on the Renew button, which will ensure that your licence has not been revoked for any reason on our servers.

Your serial number has not been renewed yet. You probably get the certificate error when clicking "renew"; and re-entering your current serial number does not renew it - it will sill expire in the coming weeks.
Could you open Safari, go to our contact page, then click the lock button in the toolbar, and click "show certificate"? The top list should show the trust chain of our certificate. It has been issued by the R11 Intermediate certificate authority, which should be trusted by the root certificate of macOS. You probably have some modified root certificate on your machine, which do not trust R11. Maybe you can contact your system administrator on this issue.
Thanks for the report

thanks. When I go to Safari as you instructed, the R11 certificate is valid, but when I submit the contact form, I learn that my system administrator has blocked the site due to Dynamic DNS. This is what blocked our purchase last year as well.

Sorry, the certificate to check is the one for this page instead; it is issued by "Sectigo RSA Domain Validation Secure Server CA". Not sure why using Dynamic DNS should reduce the trust on the certificate? You may change the certificate trust from Keychain Access.
