I need to keep my original images after OCRing them to PDFs, because I've got HTML and Markdown files linking to these images.
Right now, if I don't zip the images, they get deleted after OCR, which messes up my setup.

Is there a way to keep both the original images and the OCR PDFs without having to zip the images? I need both for my work.

Currently no, we chose to only preserve the original in a .zip file to avoid creating duplicates; but we'll think about this.

Thanks for asking — you can retain the original images after OCR by disabling the “delete originals” option in the settings or adding the source folder to the index manually so it isn’t cleaned out. Let me know the exact version of FoxTrot Professional Search you’re using and I’ll check the steps.
