I’d like to make two suggestions:
1. The ability to directly underline and annotate PDFs within FoxTrot Pro, without having to open the documents in a PDF editor. This feature should be sufficiently standardized so that those underlines or annotations are visible in other tools such as PDFelement, Adobe, or PDFexpert. Your competitor, PDF Search, already offers this feature, although annotations made with their tool sometimes don’t display correctly when you open the file in a PDF editor. In any case, it’s a very worthwhile feature and, in my opinion, would greatly improve the program’s user-friendliness.
2. The ability to directly reindex a specific folder within the app. Those of us who have tens of thousands of indexed PDFs find it slow and tedious to have to reindex all the databases (the most easily accessible option in the menu bar) or to have to go into the manager and choose one of them, or worse yet, to have to go to the Finder, find the folder, and request a reindex of that folder. It would be more convenient if that could already be done within the app.
Thank you very much.
