Dear members of FoxTrot-discuss and FoxTrot-search Google group.

First off, on behalf of the entire team, best wishes for 2010. Coming
from us, we should probably wish you something like "May you find what
you are searching for" but you get the idea.

Without further ado, we have posted in a limited capacity the next
releases of:

- FoxTrot Professional Search
- FoxTrot Search Server
- FoxTrot Personal search

from:

http://www.ctmdev.com/download

complete with release notes on each disk image. As far as we can tell,
these are versions 2.5.2 as we will be releasing them on Saturday, but
we're giving you a head start.

Please download and install, as we are eager to move our development
system to working on version 2.6 !

Regards,

jean michel/ctm qa

Hello Jean Michel,

I just ran the updates and am no longer able to select the shared index from the source list. Please see the attached screen cap.

Thanks,
Stephane

Jean Michel,

Please disregard my previous email as the problem seems to have resolved itself. However, it doesn't appear that my last request wasn't reflected in this build, namely the ability to save FT Pro's access credential for external networks to the Keychain. Is this something that is being worked on for the next build? If not, do you know if it's possible to manually setup that item in Keychain?

Thanks,
Stephane

Hello,

I get an error message on start-up.

Can't connect to the index
The connection can't be established

The index starts anyway, and can be searched on despite the error
message. So it seems that 2.5.2 is a bit too quick to display that
error message.

Sometimes when an index disconnects, the above error message will be
displayed several times in a row.

Both of these have happened on different machines. One is a 1.25 Ghz
G4 and the other a 2.8 Ghz 8 core Mac Pro, both running system 10.5.8.
