Dear members of the FoxTrot-search Google group.
While versions 2.5.2 of FoxTrot Professional, FoxTrot Personal Search
and FoxTrot Search Server were downloaded by some of you, they were
never formally announced. We are taking the unusual step of skipping
that announcement and jumping to 2.5.3b1, now available from:
http://www.ctmdev.com/download
complete with release notes on each disk image. The main changes from
2.5.2 are:
2.5.3 build 604 - January 12th, 2010 (from 2.5.2 build 602)
Features
? Implemented keychain support in both FoxTrot Professional when acting
as client and FoxTrot Admin; hence passwords can now be remember from
one connection to another and are stored in the system's keychain.
? Now includes german-language localization
Bug fixes
? Fixes the occasional remaining "Can't connect to indexer" messages
that remained in 2.5.2
As far as we can tell, these are the versions 2.5.3 as we will be
releasing them in a few days, but we're giving you a head start.
Please download and install, as we are eager to move our development
system to working on version 2.6 !

Seems to work without a glitch. Thank you. I've been appreciating Foxtrot
even more ever since Opemeta support was available.
