Good morning
I am keen to use FoxTrot, but I have a one and only task for him, to dig
into my DevonThink Pro (DTP) database.
Saw the post from sgmiller2/nov 14, but if I rename the ‘Files.noindex’
folder into ‘Files’, DTP does not show any more notes…
I do not take the point.
Could somebody clearly explain how to precisely configure FoxTrot to search
only in DTP database without preventing DTP to work (ie that I can still
read and work on notes)
Thanks beforehand.

Spotlight does not index files in folders whose name ends with ".noindex", and FoxTrot does this as well. However, if you directly add a folder with such a name in the list of folders to index (instead, or in addition, to indexing a parent folder), then FoxTrot will always index its contents. It is no longer necessary to rename the folder and to create a symlink.

serendipity using FoxTrot Professional is worth just as much as
the ability to pull any document I have a vague and incomplete
memory about it."

The problem is that DevonThink's tags do not become Apple tags, and
therefore are not available in Foxtrot or any other app. This would be a
feature request for DevonThink.
