Seems I spoke too soon - I now have another problem.

Pressing space bar does not open a file in the finder and double clicking
does not open the file.
I checked the preferences and they seem OK and Foxtrot correctly search for
files and displays information but it cannot locate or open the files.

Any suggestions or shall I try a clean system install ?
