Dear FoxTrot-Search customers,
Following the public beta availability of macOS 10.15 Catalina, we are compelled to take a detour from our road to FoxTrot version 7 to make a FoxTrot 6.6.3 public beta seed available for testing as well.
To contribute a report (strongly encouraged !), please use the Help: Report menu, or if you find the issue worthy of other’s attention, use the discussion group.
THANK YOU !

What’s new in 6.6.2 b2 - 6.6.2 Final Candidate (from version 6.6.1):
Dear FoxTrot-discuss members,
Following the public beta availability of macOS 10.15 Catalina, we are compelled to take a detour from our road to FoxTrot version 7 to make a FoxTrot 6.6.3 public beta seed available for testing as well.
## Improvements
+ macOS 10.15 Catalina support:
- when indexing the whole boot volume on Catalina, every file (except those in the read-only system volume) were indexed twice
- fixed a crash on Catalina when displaying a found document using a Quick Look plugin
- Spotlight metadata importers can be used correctly on Catalina
- added bonus for our long-time users: if you remember our claim that Apple’s PDFKit had a bug since Mac OS X 10.12 that broke our multiple-color highlighting of various search terms in PDF: it was all true, and we have been vindicated by Catalina. After filing and re-filing the bug no less that five times over 29 months, Apple has finally fixed this in 10.15. Yay !
+ FoxTrot is now notarized, and uses the hardened runtime on macOS 10.14 and later

Can't open dmg file because "Apple can't check for malicious software."
