Foxtrot Pro 6.6.3 (1988) finds words in *some* Pages documents, but it
won't jump to the highlighted words in those documents. It does with
others. Anyone know why?
I don't know of a way to find out what version of Pages created the
documents.

Update 2:
It is the current version of Pages that is the problem.
I opened a different document and Pages updated it automatically, and I was
informed:
"Mac os Spotlight search information was removed."
Then, on saving it, I cannot find its content in the FoxTrot Pro preview
pane.

Update 3:
With the older version of Pages, I can select text from the document n the
Preview pane.
With the current version of Pages, I cannot select any text.
When I drag the document to the desktop, I get a PDF file.
I'm currently using Pages 8.2

FoxTrot version 7 beta 1 will be made available soon, and it will support
highlighting occurrences found in recent versions of Pages documents.
