In case someone is looking for where to find the apps "FTStarter.app" "FTProFileIndexer.app" that Jérôme mentions: These are located in Package Content of FoxTrot Professional Search. You can find them by right-clicking on "FoxTrot Professional Search" and executing the command "Show Package Contents".
The apps are located in the folder "Contents" > "MacOS".
To add the apps to the firewall:
First, in the Finder as described above, show the contents of the Contents > MacOS folder so that you can see the apps in the Finder.
Open the System Preferences in a window next to it. Open Security & Privacy, then "Firewall" and there "Firewall Options". Click on the "+" sign. This will open a dialog to add more applications.
And in this dialog, drag either the FTStarter.app or FTProFileIndexer.app. The dialog will change to the folder where these apps are located. And finally you can select and add the apps.
The setting "Allow incoming connections" is activated automatically.
Greetings,
Lou
