Jérôme,

I think your last proposal is a better solution to the issue I pointed out
than the one I proposed. FoxTrot windows are functional and well thought
out. I don't see the need to change them either. It will be enough if the
secondary window (for searching inside a document) was dinamically linked
to the main window (search results of files). That is to say that when
documents are selected in the listing of the main window, the same
secondary search window, if opened, will dinamically correspond with the
document selected in the main window. Instead of having to open and close
the secondary window for each document listed in the main window that the
user wants to look at inside, as I believe it is now. I attach a quick
image and hope I have understood well.
