Maybe FoxTrot has been installed in the Applications folder from another macOS user account, and you do not have permissions to modify it.
Check and fix the permissions of the application file from the Finder's "Get Info" window, or run it from the user account that installed it.
Alternatively, you can download the application manually from our web site, and replace it in the Applications folder; the Finder will probably prompt for your administrator password to overwrite the previous version.
