Foxtrot Attaché Search iOS synchronization halts prematurely [message #696]

So I bit the bullet and bought the iOS app Foxtrot Attaché
Search.

However, synchronizing through Google drive, causes some
problems. With a 1.8GB .ftarchive database the process of
synchronizing halts at around 150MB, with a 180MB database
at around 100MB.

What can I do to get a full sync?
