WE NEED FEEDBACK PLEASE. Very often, we post these intermiediate releases and hear almos nothing - we cannot assume that all is good unless you say so ! Please report back to us via the foxtrot-discuss group or directly if you prefer, but please do report as we would like to release 5.5.2 final ASAP.

Release notes - FoxTrot Search products
Version 5.5.2b1 build 1410
Bug fixes
? [Pro] Under certain specific circumstances, the indices list could be empty, both in the search window, and in the "Manage Indices" window
? [Personal] When clicking in the toolbar or menu bar to change the layout, the focus on the text edit was lost and the layout could not be changed again
? Under other specific circumstances, some menu or toolbar items could stop working (i.e. layout items, Connect to Server in Pro, etc...)
? Fixed occasional crash / hang on application startup
? Fixed a case where some documents could be partially indexed (when their content contains some NULL characters)
? [Pro] In version 5.5.1, FoxTrot Professional would fail to connect to a FoxTrot Server running locally on the same machine

Hi
In this build (5.5.2b1 MAC OSX 10.11.1) I find when in the configuration
tab at the Progress: section it hangs
For example we have approx 1.4 million files on our NAS it starts to index
or compact and ticks away for a while. I come back to it and it will be
stuck, no counting of files, no change to time remaining
Quit and restart and it jumps a big chunk - so it looks like it has done
its work just not showing it properly
It seems this happens quite quickly after starting to index / compact
