I'm running v7.0b4 under Mojave (10.14.6).
When I tried to update all the indices, I got an error message telling me
it would take more than 3 hours to update all of my indices. It takes/took
about 15 minutes to do the update.
I got the warning that the binary wasn't 64 bit and would not run in a
later OS (Catalina). I didn't see this warning when running v7.0b3.
Thanks,

FoxTrot 7 is still compatible with macOS 10.12, so it needs a 32-bit component to handle 32-bit Spotlight metadata importers (in 10.12, Apple still bundled a 32-bit only importer to handle MS Office documents, and some third-party applications may still have 32-only importers).
This component is needless in 10.15, as these importers won't work either.

That’s understandable. Will you release v7 in 64 bits? Or will you make a 64 bit version available?
Thanks

FoxTrot has been a 64-bit application for years (since version 3.2). There is only a tiny component that is not 64-bit, in order to support 32-bit importers on macOS 10.12, and this component is useless on 10.15.
