How do I know it's indexing. It looks like nothing is happening when I tell it to rebuild. I clicked rebuild because it didn't appear to be doing anything and still doesn't.

Hello,

In FoxTrot Pro or FoxTrot Server Admin, go to Manage Indices and click on the selected index; you will see a progress indication there when the index is updating or being created.

There also is a spinning cogwheel in the list of indices, and a progress indication under Status at the bottom left.

In FoxTrot Personal, you can see progress in the Preferences pane.

Kind regards,

Correction to my previous message regarding just the FoxTrot Personal bit:

The two places in FoxTrot Personal where indexing activity is shown is:

- the spinning cogwheel at the bottom of the results list
- the progress pane at the bottom of categories, if it is shown

Kind regards,
