I am setting up my search criteria. If I want rtfd indexed, what file type do I select? Word Processor? Text file?

.rtf and .rtfd files are classified as Word Processor documents.
Not sure if you are talking of the [all items of type] search criteria, or of the "by item type" categorization in the left pane, or to the "index contents of files" list in the "indexed data" tab of the "manage indices" window, but they all refer to the same thing. The easiest way to find out how a given file type is classified is to search for such a file by filename, and see in which "by item type" category it appears.
