Upon launching FTP, I'm getting the error
Can't connect to the index "{index-name}" Protocol error
where {index-name} is the actual name of the index. Any idea what that might be? I'd hate to have to rebuild this particular one.

The first thing to try in a case like this would be to restart your Mac.

If the problem persists, try closing and reopening the index from the Manages Indices window.

If all else fails, quit and relaunch FoxTrot Pro with the option and command keys pressed, then rebuild indices from the FoxTrot First Aid dialog.
