Hi, I was wondering if anyone can give me an overview of setting up a cert for FT so the users don't get "untrusted".

we utilize Jamf to manage the mac, so there are some options there. I'm just a little lost trying to get it going.

So if I'm reading that correctly, regardless of getting a CA cert, if the users are connecting via hostname\IP it will be untrusted?

No, the server will be trusted if one (or both) of these conditions is met:
- it is discovered automatically on your local network (or on a VPN supporting Bonjour)
- or a certificate has been configured; the certificate should not have expired, should have been issued by a trusted CA, and should be valid for the hostname the user is connecting to
