BUG: Search history is deleted when Foxtrot crashes [message #1355] Sat, 19 February 2022 12:16

It looks like whenever Foxtrot crashes (and it crashes randomly at least once a week for me), it would delete the entire search history for that day. Unfortunately, the scenario when Foxtrot crashes is when a user would actually need their search history the most, because they would need that history in order to recreate the searches that they were working on right before the crash. This sort of thing doesn't ruin my day, but it does make me paranoid that I could be losing my work in Foxtrot. It's a quality of life issue.

I've noticed this behavior a few times across different MacOS versions, but I can't reproduce it because I don't know how to induce a sudden crash for Foxtrot. Hopefully someone can chime in if they have similar experience.
