Hello,

I never received the serial number for Foxtrot Personal 6 and therefore never used it. Thanks to support, I finally received it, but it's not working the same way as it did in Foxtrot Pro.

My question is: Why aren't the indexes displayed on the left side of the window? I'm missing the "+" icon from the Pro version. I don't see an option to create new indexes.

I'm using Sequoia 15.7.4.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

This is because FoxTrot Personal only supports a single index, always called Main Index and does not show a list of indices unlike FoxTrot Pro.

Kind regards,

Oh, thank you.

That's not very fair. The restrictions of the personal version go way too far. You're exaggerating. Sad

Hello again,

This is the personal feature set, exactly as documented on our personal product page.

Hi again too,

however, it's not explained what this means. Localizing the software or the website would be extremely helpful. I suggested this ten years ago.

In any case, this significant drawback wasn't clear to us. And I unfortunately have to stand by my assessment that the performance gap between Personal and Professional is too large. With Pro, I always assumed it included the server functionality, which I don't need.

Regards
Stubby
