Dear FoxTrot listmembers,

Following thiw week-ends flurry of Mountain Lion bug reports with certain Apple file types, we have discovered a subtle change between beta versions of Mac OS X beta and final which was causing the trouble in FoxTrot.

Versions 4.0b2 of FoxTrot Professional, Personal and Server are now available via the Check for Update... menu item in the applications and on our website at:

www.ctmdev.com/dowload

We thank all of you who helped us through these difficult few days. Incidentally, the very intense testing phase has allowed us to improve indexing performance as well.

Finally, we have No reproducible condition of 999 errors here, but are aware that a couple of users are seeing this. If this happens, please hold the option and command keys on startup and select the "Force-quit agents and send report to CTM" item. Make sure you mention error 999 in resulting message's subject.

Happy reindexing and warm regards,

jean michel / ctm qa
