Of particular relevance to our testers: older builds will cease to function on January 31st, whereas this one will work until March 1st.
FoxTrot 7.0b5 release notes (from 7.0b3):
- [PRO] FoxTrot 7's new "All items of type” criterion (which allows for dispensing with the entry of a search string to begin a search) unleashes some fascinating new dataset management potential. Much effort has gone into dealing with the consequences of such searches which initially produce a massive number of hits.
- [PRO] Many improvements have been made to the thumbnail view in order to increase performance and usability. The detailed list is half a page long, so we will spare you that, but do give it a try.
- [PRO] Greatly improved speed and responsiveness when opening large or complex PDF documents in the separate document window, when its right pane is set to display page thumbnails.
- [PRO] Changed some keyboard shortcuts: command-0 to command-9 and option-command-0 to option-command-9 are used to change / add a search criterion; command-= and command-* are used to control zooming in the Views menu.
- new 30-day demo period, and new expiration date of February 29, 2020
