Ok, I have completed a full reindexing and all files found so kudos to CTM for responding and fixing this problem so completely.

As for other issues that were identified:

1. Interface

I took another at the interface and I think I was overly critical as it really is not so bad …room for improvement but I can't really complain. It might be interesting to poll for suggestions and how it might be improved.

2. Crawler

This needs to be fixed as the problem of indexes that "can't connect" has persisted through versions. For myself, I think I will discontinue the background indexing as I really don't need it and prefer to use Spotlight for "quick and dirty" search for recent items.

3. Manual or Better Help

There really is no excuse for the long-standing poor quality of the documentation. We also need a forum as opposed to this archaic (and intrusive) email list.

So, thats it from me and thanks again for fixing the issue.

If this happens, please hold the option and command keys on startup and select the "Force-quit agents and send report to CTM" item. Make sure you mention error 999 in resulting message's subject.
