Hello Olivier

I use MailMate also (I'm sorry too, because I loved PowerMail once.)

I do not have any difficulty using FoxTrot to index my mail. In the
Manage Indices window, under the Indexed Data tab, you can add some
folders. You need to add:

~/Library/Application Support/Mailmate/Messages
~/Library/Application Support/Mailmate/Attachments

For me, FoxTrot is able to show the text of the emails, even formatted
with to, cc, subject, etc. I am not sure if FoxTrot knows how to do
that with .eml or whether it is getting that from EagleFiler, which I
have installed, which has a QuickLook plugin for .eml. Try it out.

Bon chance.

David.
